Okay, let's get this straighten out. We're still interested in this play and we have just sent away another request to Konami. The last one they didn't respond to even though they asked us to send it. But whatever, we're trying to make this work. I can't promise anything, but stay tuned for news.

Also, due to several reasons, if this happens, a lot of cast has had to be changed also we're probably doing it in English this time due to the popularity we got last time.

Okej, jag har dåliga nyheter. Väldigt dåliga nyheter.

Idag när jag öppnade min inbox så hade jag ett förunderligt mail från en person jag inte kände, en person from Konami's Svenska avdelning.

Han sa att Konami Japan inte har godkänt någonting och att vi inte fick utföra pjäsen utan tillstånd. Jag påpekade att vi redan hade skickat en förfrågan i våras till Konami om saken och att det var okej, men han sa att dom inte kunde finna att något sådant hade gått igen.

På grund av detta så kan vi INTE ha vår föreställning imorgon. Inte alls. Men det betyder inte att det inte blir någon, mannen som skickade mailet var så vänlig och hjälpte mig att skicka iväg en ny officiell förfrågan som han skulle vidarebefodra direkt till Japan så att jag får svar så fort som möjligt, men någonting säger mig att vi inte hinner få klartecken innan imorgon.

Så pjäsen får helt enkelt skjutas fram, i värsta fall kan det bli väldigt långt fram, men det hela är fortfarande på gång. Dock så kan ju vissa förändringar ske, allt från plats till vissa skådespelare beroende på hur scheman ser ut och så vidare. Det gör mig väldigt ledsen att behöva berätta det här då jag vet att det var folk påväg att kolla på föreställningen imorgon, men tyvärr, det blir inget om jag inte skriver något helt plötsligt imorgon förmiddag att Konami svarat och gett det grönt ljus. Så håll koll, men som det ser ut nu, ingen "Välkommen till Silent Hill" imorgon. Förlåt.

Okay, I have bad news. Very bad news.

Today when I opened my inbox I had a strange email from someone I did not know, someone from Konami's Swedish department.

He said that Konami Japan has not permitted anything, and that we did not have the perrmission needed for this play. I said that we had already sent a request last spring to Konami about it and that they said it was okay, but he said they could not find that such a thing had occurred.

Because of this, we can NOT have our show tomorrow. Not at all. But that does not mean there will be no show at all, the man who sent the email kindly helped me to send a new official inquiry that he was passing directly to Japan so that I get a response as soon as possible, but something tells me that we do not have time to get clearance before tomorrow.

So the play will simply be postponed, at worst it ca be very far forward, but the whole thing is still going on. However, that means there might be some changes, from the location to maybe even some of the actors, depending on schedules and such. It pains me to say this because I know there were people about to watch the show tomorrow, but unfortunately, unless ofcourse I write tomorrow morning that Konami responded and gave the green light. So keep an eye out just in case, but as it stands now, no "Welcome to Silent Hill" tomorrow. Sorry.

Okej, det har gått ett bra tag nu men det är äntligen dags att officiellt berätta att Välkommen till Silent Hill, pjäsen baserad på Silent Hill 2 av Konami Corporation, kommer ha premiär den 17'de December 2009. Det vill säga nästa väcka.

Folk som följt mitt DeviantArt konto (sirtobbii.deviantart.com) lär ha sett den engelska planschen och lär också veta att vi kommer släppa pjäsen på YouTube och på DVD med Behind-the-scenes matrial och annat kul. DVD versionen kommer att släppas med engelska undertexter såklart då pjäsen är på svenska och beräknas komma någon gång runt Januari/Februari om allt går som tänkt.

I huvudrollerna ser ni Torbjörn Karlsson (Jag) som James Sunderland, Rebekka Robertsdottir som Angela Orosco, Peter Joelsson som Eddie Dombrowski, Peter Jacobsson som The Red Pyramid Thing, Joy Jonsson som Laura och Madeleine Olsson som Maria. Pjäsen är skriven och regiserad av Anna Råberg och det är hennes projektarbete i Estetisk Verksamhet Årskurs 3.

English Translation:

Okay, it's been a while but now it's finally time to announce that Welcome to Silent Hill, the stageplay based on Silent Hill 2 by Konami Corporation, will have its premiere on December 17 2009. In other words, next week.

Those who have followed my DeviantArt account (sirtobbii.deviantart.com) should have seen the English Poster allready and should also know that there will be a YouTube aswell as a DVD release featuring Behind-The-Scenes material and other fun things. The DVD will also feature english subtitles and menus since it's in swedish and is expected to release around January/Febuary.
